Are you also a fan of soups during the cold season? Except for being super delicious, this kidney beans soup is rich in protein, very filling and is perfect for chilly weather!
Ingredients
1 cup of kidney beans (canned or dry ones)
walnuts (handful)
1 big potato
onion
garlic
cilantro
salt, pepper
olive oil
Directions
If you use dry beans, soak them overnight. Using canned beans, drain, rinse and add them to the water to be cooked. Then add the potato.
Fry the onion and garlic using olive oil, add salt and pepper and add everything to the bouillon.
Crush the walnuts in a blender and when the soup is ready, add on top. Serve with fresh cilantro.
